Brandon & Angelique met on Facebook…

 

Angelique caught Brandon's attention and he had to send her an invite immediately, she also immediately accepted his invite. Then Brandon sent her a "Hello"...

 

Angelique isn't that crazy about Facebook messenger so she just asked Brandon if they could whatsapp instead...

 

Shared numbers and immediately started talking about all the little things…

 

Brandon left her a message every morning but unfortunately Angelique only decided to reply after 4 days...

 

After a few weeks, Brandon thought that Angelique was not interested, but trusted in "if it's meant to be"...

 

On Wednesday, the 3rd of September 2020, Brandon was at the "joker" and showed off his beer on his whatsapp status... This caught Angelique's attention and immediately asked if she could join Brandon.

 

More and more days passed where the two talked and finally the first "date" was arranged. “Sushi Date Night”.

 

The night before the "date", Angelique video-called Brandon because they were both terribly nervous.

Brandon asked Angelique to be his girlfriend at the end of 2020.

 

From there, everything just started to fall into place and Brandon knew more and more that Angelique is meant to be his wife.

 

So he asked Angelique's mother and father if he could marry their daughter.

 

Her mother and father arranged a holiday where they were invited together. Brandon then started to arrange all his tricks so that he could ask her in a special way.

 

Magalies Park for 3 days… Brandon didn't know if he was nervous or excited.

 

The Day arrived and Brandon's mum and dad also came through for a braai (With most of his tricks for his planning)

 

On the golf course, Brandon chose a tee, packed sunflowers, and set their telescope on a star and took Angelique to look through at the stars.

 

Angelique was looking at the star when Brandon asked her to turn around to face him…

 

There Brandon was… on his knees… with both parents looking at them from a distance…

 

"Angelique, will you marry me?"

 

Angelique in tears, Brandon in tears and everyone who watched also in tears…
